UN group holds symbolic meeting in Argentina
25/07/2008
A UN Human Rights Council group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances will conclude its latest session this weekend in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The choice of location is symbolic as Argentina's military government "disappeared" thousands of citizens during the 'Dirty War' from 1976 to 1983. UN Radio's Laura Kwiatkowski spoke to Working Group chairman Santiago Corcuera about Argentina's efforts to address its past.
