Land dispute continues

Cambodia and Thailand have been having a standoff with troops deployed on a disputed patch of land near the 11th century Preah Vihear temple. This follows a decision by UNESCO's Heritage Committee two weeks ago to add the temple to the World Heritage List. In fact, the Security Council has been considering whether to take up the issue at the request of Cambodia. But now, the two countries have agreed to meet on Monday to resolve the issue bilaterally. UN Radio's Geraldine Adams spoke to Nino Munoz-Gomez in charge of Public Information at UNESCO about the importance of adding Preah Vihear temple to the World Heritage List.
