Radiation treatment for artefacts

Nuclear techniques are being used to protect and preserve works of art

in Croatia. The techniques are supported by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) which operates a project to protect cultural heritage artefacts in Europe. The Ruder Boskovic Institute in Croatia's capital, Zagreb, takes part in this programme.
