Secretary-General rides solar-powered cab to work

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon usually comes to work in a chauffeur-driven town car. But this morning he took a taxi to work -- although not one of New York's familiar yellow cabs. Mr. Ban arrived at the UN Secretariat today in the world's first solar taxi. The two-seater vehicle, which runs on energy harnessed from the sun, is the dream of an adventurous young man from Switzerland who wants to raise awareness about climate change.
