Security Council strongly condemns terrorist attack in Yemen

Members of the UN Security Council have strongly condemned Wednesday's terrorist attack at the entrance to the US Embassy in Sana'a, Yemen which caused the death of Yemeni security personnel as well as numerous injuries.
In a press statement, Council President for the month of September Ambassador Michel Kafando of Burkina Faso, the members of the council reiterated that all acts of terrorism are criminal and unjustifiable, regardless of their motivation."The members of the Security Council underlined the need to bring the perpetrators, organizers, financiers and sponsors of this reprehensible act of terrorism to justice, commended the commitment of the Government of Yemen to this end, and urged all States, to cooperate actively with the Yemeni authorities in this regard."
The members of the Security Council also reiterated their determination to combat all forms of terrorism.
