"In My Name" YouTube campaign supports Millennium Development Goals

Song:In my name

With this song written by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas, a campaign called "In My Name" was launched by YouTube. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon participated in the call encouraging citizens from around the world to upload a video to the YouTube "in my name" channel, stating their name, their country and a specific task of their government to end poverty.

"I'm proud to have added my name to this pledge wall, a powerful symbol in our mobilization to make poverty history."

The campaign is in support of the UN's Millennium Development Goals, which include reducing by half extreme poverty, halting the spread of HIV/AIDS and providing universal primary education, all by the target date of 2015.
