Aid agencies help displaced in eastern DR Congo

Relief agencies in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo have seen the extent of the damage caused by recent fighting. The conflict between rebel fighters loyal to Laurent Nkunda and government forces has displaced tens of thousands of people. A United Nations mission went to the rebel held area for the first on Monday since the fighting broke out. The United Nations refugee agency, UNHCR, was part of that mission.
