Estimates say half of the 108,000 people affected by the earthquake in Pakistan are children

The relatively low death toll of 200 belies the devastation brought on by the earthquake that struck the south western province of Balochistan, Pakistan, at the end of October. Actually some 108,000 people were affected, half of them children. And UNICEF, the UN Children's Fund, reports that 19,000 of those are under five years old.
