No peace deal until all issues were settled

The Palestinians and Israelis have reached agreement at a meeting in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt that there would be no peace deal until all issues between them were settled, according to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, who spoke on behalf of the Quartet.
The core issues dividing the two sides include the status of Jerusalem, the borders of a future Palestinian state and the fate of Palestinan refugees. President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni reached a number of mutual understandings on the principles governing their negotiating process. These include: The need for a continuous, uninterrupted, direct, bilateral negotiations and the principle that nothing would be considered agreed until everything is agreed. United States Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice and Quartet Representative Tony Blair were also present at the meeting.Gerry Adams, United Nations.
