UNESCO reports inequalities in achieving education for all

Despite international commitments to achieve universal primary education by the year 2015, millions of poor children might not get the chance to reach their full potential. That's the finding of the 2009 Education for All Global Monitoring Report, released today by UNESCO--the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. UN Radio's Diane Bailey spoke to UNESCO's Kevin Watkins about reducing inequalities so that all children receive a basic education.
