UN Radio produces daily news content in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Kiswahili, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish, and weekly programmes in French Creole, Bangla, Hindi, Urdu and Indonesian.
UN Radio updates its news throughout the day. It also produces news features and analyses on a variety of social, political, economic, development and cultural issues involving the UN and its work. UN Radio products range from individual news and feature stories to produced magazine and current affairs programmes (both daily and weekly).
These news products can be used by broadcasters in their programmes or newscasts or as a source of information and materials for individual reporters. In addition, UN Radio provides raw audio materials from ongoing meetings and events, interviews and access to audio stored in our archives, all free of charge. Broadcast-quality mp3 files can be downloaded from the Radio website (http://radio.un.org) or from an FTP server (we will provide access).
