"It's a fight for everyone to be informed and for everyone to have a word to say in his or her country's future." Lucie Morillon, Director of the Washington DC office of Reporters Without Borders, on the importance of World Press Freedom Day observed annually on 3 May.
And delegates from across the globe are at UN Headquarters this month exploring long-term energy solutions that also fuel economic and social development.
