We all need to be climate pioneers, says solar plane explorer Piccard

Profitable and environmentally-friendly solutions already exist that can help to reduce global warming, and they need to be implemented as a matter of urgency by the international community.

That's the message from solar plane explorer Bertrand Piccard, who's been taking part in an electric car rally outside the UN in Geneva.

Before driving his e-car to Bonn in Germany to take part in the COP23 climate talks, Dr Piccard told Daniel Johnson about the need to "fast-track" 1,000 clean technology projects that he is championing through the World Alliance for Efficient Solutions.
