Women in South Sudan are striking back at sexual and gender-based violence.

They have been learning self-defense techniques, giving them the skills to protect themselves against potential attacks.

The training was organized by the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), with participation from Japanese peacekeepers serving in the country.
