Security Council debates stamping out human trafficking

Better data and funding will be critical in the global fight to stamp out human trafficking, UN Secretary-General António Guterres told the Security Council on Wednesday.

Ambassadors were discussing ways to disrupt the networks that profit from crimes such as forced labour, which the UN says brings in US$150 billion each year alone.
