An emergency US$ 411 million appeal has been launched to help Palestine refugees caught up in the Syria conflict.

The UN says those Palestinians are among the worst affected by nearly six years of fighting in the country.

The warning comes from Pierre Krähenbühl, who heads the UN agency which supports Palestine refugees, UNRWA.

He's been speaking to Daniel Johnson in Geneva.
