South Sudan ceasefire welcomed by UN

A ceasefire agreement between the warring parties in South Sudan has been welcomed by the UN Mission in the country, UNMISS.

It follows days of fighting between forces loyal to President Salva Kiir and First Vice-President Riek Machar.

Close to 300 people have been reported killed in the capital Juba.
