Impunity for killings in Ukraine remains "rampant" according to a report prepared by the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in the eastern European country.

Armed conflict in certain districts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, has led to the deaths of 2000 civilians over the past two years.

And the report states that the ongoing conflict has been "fuelled by the inflow of foreign fighters and weapons from the Russian Federation."
