Tax evasion undermines justice and deprives governments of resources to provide health care, education and other public services, according to a human rights expert who is calling for an end to financial secrecy.

Juan Pablo Bohoslavsky, the UN independent expert on foreign debt and human rights, was speaking in the wake of the leak of the so-called "Panama papers."

Mr Bohoslavsky tells Jorge Miyares how tax evasion and so-called "shell companies" endanger development.
