The North Lawn at UN Headquarters, which was replaced six years ago with a temporary building, should be restored to its former glory by next spring.

Work is well underway to tear down the North Lawn Building, which served as a temporary home for hundreds of UN staff as well as key events such as the 2013 General Debate of the General Assembly.
