Investment needed to reap "digital dividends"

Digital technologies have spread rapidly in much of the world, but the broader development benefits from using these technologies have lagged behind, according to the World Bank.

These so-called "digital dividends" have included increased growth, expanded opportunities and improved service delivery.

The Bank recently published a study looking at the haves and have-nots of the digital world and how increased investment will help more people to benefit from digital technologies.

It's called "If You Can Read This Headline, You Have Access Others May Lack"
