Deliberate starvation in Syria "a weapon of war"

The deliberate starvation of people in Syria is being used as a weapon of war, according to the UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon. The civil war in Syria is about to enter its sixth year. The UN estimates that more than 250,000 people have died there and almost 11 million have been forced to flee their homes. Daniel Dickinson reports.

Innovation "indispensable" to tackling global refugee crisis

More than six million people have fled Syria and are now refugees in neighbouring countries and further afield. It's just one part of the complex refugee situation that the world currently faces. The newly appointed UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi has said that innovation will be "indispensable" to address the global crisis. Mr Grandi sat down with Cristina Silveiro to discuss his priorities for the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR).
