The UN and its partners in Yemen are working to find ways to provide "regular and systemic"  aid delivery to hundreds of thousands of people in the besieged city of Taizz.

Jamie McGoldrick, UN Humanitarian Coordinator for the country, has just returned from Taizz where he saw first-hand the damage and devastation caused by months of fighting between government forces and rebel groups.

Among the places he visited was the Al Thawra hospital which has been repeatedly hit during the conflict.

Mr McGoldrick tells Reem Abaza about conditions there.  He also expresses hope that the visit will not be a "one-off."
