Regional and local communities have role to play in climate deal

Regional and local communities have a vital role to play in addressing climate change issues.

That's one of the messages coming out of the negotiations in Paris, where world leaders have gathered to hash out a new climate change agreement.

At the UN climate conference, or COP 21, the role of regional and local communities in implementing the expected climate deal has been emphasized.

Cristina Silveiro spoke with Philippe Couillard, the Premier of Quebec; a province in Canada which has been recognized as a leader in addressing climatic issues.
