The UN mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) has said it is taking new allegations of misconduct, sexual exploitation and abuse, "very seriously".

The new allegations come following earlier claims of possible misconduct by UN staff in the country.

The head of MINUSCA has condemned the alleged acts and said the UN is committed to ensuring that justice is served.

Cristina Silveiro spoke to Vladimir Monteiro, Spokesperson for MINUSCA, and asked him what more could be said about the allegations at this time.
