A deadline has passed for more than 200 foreigners to leave a UN-run protection facility in the capital of South Sudan.

They were among the scores of people escaping conflict which broke out in December 2013 following a political impasse between the country's leader and former vice-president.

With the security situation now "drastically" changed, the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) on Monday closed its protection–of-civilians (POC) site in Juba. Although most foreigners had left before then, some still want to stay.

Sani Martin found out more about relocation efforts from UNMISS Acting Spokesperson, Joe Contreras.
