Artists from across Africa have come together to support UN efforts to create a sustainable future for all people and the planet.

They have released a song called 'Tell Everybody' which is about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aimed at eradicating extreme poverty, fighting inequality and tackling climate change over the next 15 years.

World leaders will officially endorse the 17 SDGs, also known as the Global Goals, when they meet this week at the UN.

Lisa Oduor-Noah from Kenya, who is studying music in the United States, provides the song's chorus which in part says "We can hope for a better day."

The 22-year-old told Priscilla Lecomte that African youth are "hungry" to use their talents to make the world a better place.
