"Thirst for knowledge" among children of war-torn South Sudan

Despite the ongoing conflict in South Sudan, children there have issued a simple and clear message: we want to stay in school.

That's according to Save the Children which is issuing a report this Tuesday on the plight of the country's youngsters.

At just four years old, South Sudan is the world's newest nation.  But the country has been marred by nearly two years of fighting stemming from a political battle between the president and former vice-president.

As a result, more than two million people have fled their homes.

Sebit William spoke to Peter Walsh, Save the Children country director for South Sudan, to find out why children's voices matter.
