The future of Haiti will depend on more women accessing leadership positions, according to UN Women, the United Nations agency dedicated to gender equality.

Nadège Beauvil, who works as a programme specialist in the Caribbean island, says the current focus of her work is getting more women involved in the upcoming local, legislative, and presidential elections.
