After 14 months of a "national nightmare", the head of the UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) says the country is eagerly anticipating the moment when it can be declared "Ebola free".

Karin Landgren says that if no new case of the virus is confirmed by Saturday, the World Health Organization will make the announcement.

The Ebola outbreak claimed the lives of more than 4,300 people in Liberia, and thousands more deaths were reported in neighbouring West African countries.

Stephanie Coutrix spoke with Ms Landgren after she presented a progress report on Liberia to the Security Council.

She began by asking her whether Ebola is under control in the country.
