Haiti readies for "important" electoral year

Haiti is preparing for what a senior UN official is calling an important electoral year.

Elections have been called for August by the country's President using special powers after the Haitian parliament became what has been described as "dysfunctional."

The Caribbean island is still recovering from an earthquake that hit five years ago, killing 200,000 people.

Isabelle Dupuis asked Sandra Honoré, the UN Special Representative for Haiti, about the long-delayed poll.
