South Sudan is once again on the brink of a major hunger crisis, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has warned.

The country is plagued by a conflict that broke out in December 2013 between government and opposition forces.

The agency estimates that about one fifth of the population or 2.5 million people is in either "crisis or emergency level" food insecurity.

FAO's Serge Tissot in South Sudan told Sandra Ferrai that the whole country is affected.
