Police officers have been working to maintain law and order with displaced people at a UN base in South Sudan's oil town of Malakal.

The Protection of Civilian (POC) site hosts up to 20,000 people who have been uprooted by fighting between government and opposition forces that erupted in 2013.

A Police State Advisor with the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) said that 116 arrests have been made including for robbery, domestic violence and murder.

Samuel Adwok Deng sat down with Alan Songoro to find out more.
