People of South Sudan need peace now, says UN humanitarian chief

If conflict does not stop in South Sudan, there will be a lost generation of  children without education, access to health services and facing the threat of hunger.

The warning has come from the United Nations humanitarian chief who has been visiting the new African nation.

South Sudan has been embroiled in a conflict which broke out in December 2013 between government and opposition forces.
