The government of South Sudan has urged donor countries to help people displaced by the ongoing conflict in the country.

The fighting which broke out between government and opposition forces in December 2013 has forced two million people to flee their homes.

The Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Clement Taban, attended a UN pledging conference held in Nairobi, Kenya on Monday to help the conflict-affected people in South Sudan.

Sani Martin spoke with Mr Taban ahead of the meeting and asked him what message the government was conveying to international donors.
