Jordan's most famous nurse brings hope to Syrian refugees

Syrian refugees who have escaped the violence in their conflict-torn country and now live in the Za’atari camp in Jordan are getting a helping hand from the country's most famous nurse and midwife.

Munira Sha’ban affectionately known as "Mama Munira" is well known for her involvement in projects for family planning and giving women business and professional skills.

She came out of retirement after being hired by the UN Population Fund (UNFPA).

May Yaacoub caught up with "Mama Munira" who was at the UN to participate in a high level event on women and children to find out more about her work.
