Aid workers fighting to control the deadly Ebola epidemic in Africa are in "totally unmapped terrain", according to a UN official who has just returned from Liberia.

The West African country, along with Guinea and Sierra Leone, has been hard-hit by the epidemic.

The UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) is setting up community health care centres to take in patients exposed to the virus.

It says a $200 million to respond to the outbreak has only been partially funded

Jocelyne Sambira has more.
