As the situation in Gaza deteriorates, the UN Food Agency, WFP, has been responding to the needs by increasing the delivery of emergency food to civilians.

To date, WFP has reached more than 318,000 conflict-affected people in Gaza with emergency food assistance.

The breakdown of the cease-fire has forced WFP and its partners to put its regular food distributions on hold and focus on the emergency situation.

The agency has managed to bring in supplies to Gaza from Jerusalem, including fresh bread.

However, WFP's Elisabeth Byrs tells Patrick Maigua, there are significant constraints moving food around in Gaza because of the insecurity.
