Turning on a light at the flick of a switch is something many people around the world take for granted.

But for one fifth of the world’s population, it’s simply not an option, relegating them to a life of what's been called “energy poverty”.

One man in the Philippines is making his dream of spreading light a reality, not only in his country, but amongst the world’s poorest.
