On average, thirty-six people are killed every day in eastern Ukraine in the fighting between armed groups and government forces, according to a new UN report.

Released by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights on Friday, the report details the human rights situation in the country.

The number of casualties has more than doubled in total since the last report issued a month ago.

The sustained and intense fighting is taking a toll on the human rights and humanitarian situation in that part of the country.
