"Integrate" environmental agenda in post-2015 development

The international community is being urged to integrate environmental issues in a "holistic manner" into the Post-2015 development agenda.

Hundreds of environment ministers, decision makers, scientists, civil society representatives and business leaders have gathered in Nairobi for the inaugural meeting of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA) to discuss global environmental challenges.

The assembly is a new world body that places environmental issues at the heart of international affairs.
