Many people around the world are excited about the opening of the world's biggest international sport competition on Thursday.
That's what the Secretary-General's Special Advisor on Sport for Development and Peace, Wilfried Lemke said during a UN celebratory gathering to kick off the event.
The 2014 FIFA World Cup will be hosted by Brazil from 12 June to 13 July.
Mr. Lemke told Monica Grayley he shared in the excitement but also had concerns regarding the São Paulo pre-Cup protests.
