"Colonial era" convention on forced labour to be renegotiated

A convention on forced labour which is being described as coming from the colonial era is being renegotiated at the United Nations.

The International Labour Organization estimates that around 21 million people are engaged in forced labour around the world.

It's thought annual profits from the uncontrolled sector are in the region around $150 billion.
