A hundred and sixty five Somali men and women are being trained to become the new administrators of towns recently recovered in the recent military offensive by the Somali National Army (SNA) and AMISOM.

Access to social services has also been severely limited, with basic facilities such as schools, hospitals either dilapidated or destroyed.

The government, working together with its development partners, is now moving to plan and organize these towns and extend services to the people.

Jocelyne Sambira reports.
