The Italian football club, Juventus has joined forces with the UN's cultural organization, UNESCO to work against discrimination.

Under the partnership, Juventus will finance a global research programme on racism and discrimination in sport.

The findings will be published by UNESCO in a report aimed at providing governments and other stakeholders with insights on how racism can be eradicated from the sports field.

And on 2 June, former stars from Juventus and Real Madrid meet each other in the UNESCO Cup at the Juventus Stadium in Turin.

The proceeds from the match will fund reintegration programmes for child soldiers in Mali and the Central African Republic.
