African countries mark 25 years of peaceful use of nuclear technologies

Countries in Africa are marking a 25-year long partnership with the International Atomic Energy Agency to promote the peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology on the continent.

The African Regional Cooperative Agreement for Research Development and Training related to Nuclear Science and Technology or the AFRA, contributes to a range of development issues including agriculture, energy and the management of water sources.
