Violence in the Central African Republic is intensifying, according to reports from the UN.
Thousands of people are believed to have been killed, and 2.2 million need humanitarian aid as a result of the ongoing conflict between Christian and Muslims that began in December 2012.
The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) said the renewed inter-communal violence had triggered further displacement within the country and across its border.
UNHCR fears for the lives of 19,000 Muslims who need to leave dangerous zones and move towards the North, near the border withChad.
