"The Little Prince's Day" highlights common values with the UN

The values in "The Little Prince" novella by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry are closely linked with the primary purposes of the United Nations, according to astrophysicist Trinh Xuan Thuan.

A special "Little Prince Day" was recently organized by the United Nations at the New York Public Library.

Experts from child protection, education, humanitarian, and environmental sectors, were invited to make links between the book and the UN's main goals and values.

Professor Thuan was invited to give a talk that highlighted the importance of travel and discovery.

Stephanie Coutrix asked him how he interprets the novella.
