Shipwrecks and other types of underwater cultural heritage offer "huge potential" for small island states according to a senior government archaeologist from the Caribbean.

Experts from around the world have been gathering in New York to discuss how heritage sites could help in the development of small island economies.

Archaeologist, Reg Murphy, is the Secretary General for the UNESCO National Commission in Antigua and Barbuda.

Daniel Dickinson began by asking him what is meant by underwater cultural heritage.
