Harmony with nature, when it comes to farming, is organic farming.

That's according to Jim Gerritsen, who runs a family farm in Maine, a state in the New England region of the north-eastern United States.

He has been farming organically for 40 years and raises different organic seeds, primarily potato.

Mr Gerritsen was invited to United Nations Headquarters on International Mother Earth Day, marked annually on 22 April, to participate in an interactive dialogue on harmony with nature.

Stephanie Coutrix asked him how he works in harmony with Mother Earth.
